With over 20 years of fishing and custom tackle experience, Mountain Man seeks to redefine custom lures. By handcrafting lures one at a time, using select components, we fill a need... the need to create lures to imitate exactly what the fish are feeding on right now, right here.
We are a true custom tackle supplier. Our website may not feature a multitude of lures in hundreds of colors but if you want something specific we will do our best to make it happen for you. Jigs, spinnerbaits and custom molded plastics and jigheads are areas of expertise.
Doing everything from start to finish allows us to offer unlimited range of colors and detail in a truly custom, made to order lure.
Everything is done with extra care, with durability in mind; everything is powdercoated, hand tied with thread and epoxied in place.

Flipping through a lure catalog only reveals hundreds of clones, they even copy each others names for color patterns. We started making lures to copy the things fish eat where we were fishing.
